Through our partnership with the Marin County Fair, the Sonoma-Marin Agricultural Association coordinates agricultural education programming and produces the youth livestock shows that bring agriculture front and center in our community. Each year, youth exhibitors bring their animals to the fair to showcase the cattle, sheep, goats and swine they’ve spent months caring for and preparing.
Beyond the livestock shows, we provide educational exhibits and interactive demonstrations where local producers and educators share their expertise. Fairgoers can learn about sustainable farming practices and animal welfare while also gaining a real understanding of what it takes to bring food from farm to table. Through this hands-on programming, we foster an appreciation for farming and fulfill our mission of agricultural education and youth development in ways that resonate long after the fair ends.
Join us at the fair and experience our local agriculture firsthand!
